This is Charlie and Berkley, our two beloved West Highland Terriers - sadly neither of which are still with us and both are hugely missed. They’ve each appeared in a number of pictures I’ve painted over the years. Dinner Time is based on a photo I took of them in the kitchen of our last house, waiting for Sue to give them a treat. I always knew it would get painted one day.
