Walk Tall

Like the ‘Contrasts’ series, I originally produced the Walk Tall images for Artko. Like Contrasts, I felt that it would be prudent to publish a short run of these three works myself. Again, like Contrasts, there are just 20 Artist Proof copies available on either paper or canvas.

The thing that make these images a little different is that they were painted digitally - a technique I’m developing as part of my continued efforts to add variety to my work.

I have followed the trend of my most recent contemporary works with these pieces by painting them black and white. However, this would have been tricky with a Chocolate Lab, so in his case I’ve used a subtle degree of colour. Enough, but not  so much as not to make it jump out against the other two images. I think it works, I hope you do too.
